A RAINFALL OF "COUTURE" PEARLS AND CRYSTALS: SPINA DESIGN

A69- Pink Coral tieback
Pink Coral curtain tieback from Spina Design

Delicate tinted rose crystals nestle under a canopy of hand wound Japanese silk bobbles is one of the many examples of the stupendous haberdashery launched by 2 "crazy" guys : Robbie Spina and Joe Zito.

Isn't those jewels more precious than the Queen's Crown Jewels ?

A80- Mink Pompon Tie-back

Mink ( as above), fox, mohair, sateen, silk, ribbons, Swarovsky crystals, leather, peacock feathers, they dare use all kinds of precious materials for their "couture" items. They had to go through a very special order of an 11 meter long river of pearls that was to be hanged from a ceiling, thus renting a special place to be able to mount and dismantle it.

via Harrods and Madonna.

They boith would love to create a jewellery line and accessories.. their imagination is wide enough from Cleopatra, Marie-Antoinette, the Folies Bergère...
