“LE TOURNESOL” : AN AUTHENTIC BISTROT PARISIEN

A perfect cliché of a Parisian restaurant with its old glass door, heavy burgundy velvet curtains to the floor, the ceramic flooring, the tall  thousand years wooden bar , the simple wood chairs, and the waiters, in black and white with their apron on.

Sounds so Parisian, and so it is. And great it is !

You walk in, you are already welcome with a broad smile by the guy behind the counter.

Then, hard to choose a table, the round one ? One outside as they have those heaters which makes having dinner easy even in Alaska, the ones at the back as if you were on a train ?

The menu offers good fare at honest prices.

Almost every time I went there I was served a glass of champagne ! Don’t ask me why, I don’t know ! I must be looking like a heavy champagne drinker. Bouh !!!!!!!!!!!!
